Can’t Touch Them!

The Nagle College Touch Football team won the A Division Touch grand final played at Stephenson Park (Sale) on Wednesday 15 June. They defeated the Total Safety Incredi-bulls 6 tries to 4. At half time the scores were two all but Nagle added four tries to their total in the second half to take out the championship.

The game was played in a sportsmanlike manner with pace and skill the order of the night. Nagle Captain, Bryan Smith, stated that it was a fantastic game and one that his team was delighted to win. Nagle player Kyle Grummisch top scored with four tries with Oscar Crunden-Smith and Daniel Churches sharing the single tries. Best players were Kyle Grummisch, Oscar Crunden-Smith, Daniel Churches and Hannah Bourke.

The Male Best and Fairest Award was won by Oscar Crunden-Smith with 25 votes. The Male Try Scoring Award went to Kyle Grummisch with 47 tries for the season; team mate Oscar Crunden-Smith was runner-up with 38.
