On Tuesday 31 October, a small group of staff and students travelled to Melbourne to attend a commemoration service to mark 100 years since the Battle of Beersheba. Nagle College representatives were placed in a prominent position in front of the Shrine of Remembrance, along with other schools from regional Victoria. Our students were involved in a Wreath Laying ceremony as part of this service and took part in the official photography for the day.
Our students were wonderful ambassadors at this commemoration service. As part of their time in Melbourne, they were also able to visit inside the Shrine to discover more of Australia's involvement in World War I.
