Gippstar Siblings

Aislin and Renae Jones are creating history - both sporting and family - with their continuing successes on the shooting range. Aislin (Class of 2018) was the January Open Gippstar Award winner for her achievements in Skeet Shooting. Aislin competed at the Australian Clay Target Association ISSF National Championships in January. Aislin won the Junior, Women's and Open National Overall Championship, collecting a six out of seven contested National Titles plus the Open "AA" Grade along the way. She left all other competitors in her wake to take out this major event.

Younger sister Renae (Year 10 Bosco) is also a talented shooter and was named the February Open Gippstar Award winner. Renae competed at the Sydney Cup, which is part of the Shooting Australia's Performance Series, where she won the Bronze Medal. Renae qualified sixth place in the final of the ISSF women's trap event, which was only her second open women's final in her career.

This is an amazing achievement for both girls and we wish them well as they continue to compete on the world stage.
