Memorial Garden dedication

On Wednesday 5 September, we came together as a College community to dedicate our new Memorial Garden. In the Memorial Garden, the College had dedicated the space as sacred; a place to reflect and remember these people who were taken too soon, although the space will evolve with time.

Staff and students were invited to attend the dedication and more than half the College attended the liturgy. We acknowledged five staff members and two students that had been members of the College; as a staff member or as a student, when they died. In some instances their deaths came unexpectedly, without warning. As a Nagle Community we came together to mourn, remember and celebrate a life lived as part of this community. Here, now, we have the opportunity to leave for them a lasting tribute.

They were our friends, classmate, teacher and colleague; they will stay forever a part of us and our community.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. (John)
