Middle School Author In Residence – Scot Gardner

During September we are fortunate to welcome our ‘Author‐in‐Residence’, Scot Gardner to Nagle College. Scot is an award winning author, seasoned storyteller, performer and entertainer. He came to writing via counselling and youth work. His thirteen novels range from absurd fantasy for children to gritty realism and tragic‐comedy for young adults.

Scot will be working to inspire our reluctant readers and to reinforce a love of reading and writing with our students. He will be running workshops and holding presentations with all Year 9 students and selected Year 10 students over two days; September 2 and 3.

Scot will be working with selected middle school students in a writing ‘Masterclass’. These two days promise to be entertaining and productive for all our readers and writers of middle school.
