Nagle at the Field Days

The East Gippsland Field Days were held at the Bairnsdale Aerodrome on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 May. Nagle College once again was a visible presence at this major event, enabling us to showcase our diverse curriculum and promote the College to a very wide audience.

Nagle Music provided entertainment on the main stage during Friday, with performances by a number of ensembles and soloists. Year 10 student Emiliqua East also entertained the crowds over both days with her demonstrations of whip cracking - a very exciting spectacle to watch!

Our marquee was a happening place with lots of student involvement, displays of 3D student works from arts and technology, photographs on two televisions highlighting our learning environment and the pastoral aspect of the college. We also sold handcrafted serving/chopping boards from our very talented VCAL students who were raising funds to purchase materials to make 'snuggle blankets', which are donated to the elderly in our local community.

With giveways of flyers, toffees, note pads, balloons, bookmarks and magnetic jigsaws, we were able to add to the show bag collections of many visitors.
