Nagle College Learning Framework

Teachers at Nagle College have been working with Jo Osler from the Catholic Education Office to develop a learning framework for our students. The framework identifies learning behaviours and expectations for students to be successful learners at school and throughout their lives. Teachers are now discussing the learning behaviours with students so they are clear about what this means in class and how they should approach their learning. The learning framework is displayed in all classrooms. The essence of the learning framework is:

  • Motivated and reflective learners who show ownership and take action
  • Learners can show evidence of critical thinking, independence, initiative and ownership
