Premier’s Spirit of ANZAC Prize

Nagle College had six students submit entries into the 2017 Premier's Spirit of ANZAC Prize. Three of these students were shortlisted and attended an interview and presentation process in Melbourne in the latter part of 2017.

We are delighted to report that Year 11 student Fran Pini is an Official Recipient of the Prize and will join 21 other Victorian school students on a study tour to Darwin and Singapore during the Term 1 break. They will be joined by historians, government representatives and chaperones on this amazing experience, following in the footsteps of Australian armed services personnel during World War II.

Year 11 student Kelsey Cuttriss was successful as a Regional Finalist and will participate in a trip to Canberra during the Term 2 holiday break. Whilst in Canberra Kelsey will visit a number of key places of interest and attend a morning tea at Parliament House.

Photos and more details can be found on the Facebook link from the Department of the Premier's website.

Congratulations to all the six students who submitted entries into this prestigious Prize. This is an accomplishment on its own, so well done. This is the fifth time that Nagle College has been represented in the overseas study tour of the SOAP, so we are gaining a strong reputation and record.

Entries for the 2018 Premier's Spirit of ANZAC Prize (SOAP) are now open to current Year 9 and 10 students. Full details can be found on the link from this page, or by speaking to Ms Julie Henley.
