Nagle College is a vibrant Catholic co-educational learning community comprising students in Years 7 to 12. The College's teaching and philosophy are grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and interpretation of the Gospel lived out by Nano Nagle, the founder of the Presentation Sisters and St John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian Society. Like our founders, Nagle College believes that through education, we liberate our students, give them dignity and the skills required to be productive members of the community and enhance their vocational prospects for the future. Our values and mission are underpinned by our community's commitment to bear witness to the following shared values as modelled by Jesus, Nano Nagle and St John Bosco.

Acceptance
Celebration
Commitment
Compassion
Endeavour
Responsibility
Excellence
Forgiveness
Honesty
Justice
Respect
Understanding

In recent years the College has established learning programs designed to equip our students with the skills and capacities to enable them to become independent learners in the globalised 21st Century knowledge society. We understand that strong classroom relationships underpin and inspire effective learning, and have put structures and processes in place to ensure this occurs. The changes associated with preparing our students to take their place in this new global, knowledge-based society means that we have acknowledged that learners have changed and that the focus has also moved from simply acquiring knowledge to being able to transfer knowledge and skills within and beyond the classroom. In addition, we encourage an active citizenship where our students have strong foundations for lifelong learning and are prepared to live their lives in the future as independent, active community members who live out the Gospel values and contribute to the common good of society.

In accordance with the College's Mission Statement as a dynamic and effective learning community we will promote creative teaching and learning through a challenging and relevant curriculum permeated by Catholic values and through the pursuit of academic excellence.
